Toyin Adeyinka is a graduate of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worchester and a Master of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Northeastern University Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Society of Engineers, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Institute of Structural Engineers and a certified member of the Council of Registered Engineers in Nigeria (COREN). He has extensive experience in the conceptual design of major projects locally and internationally. He was involved in the planning and designing of the Industrial Capital of Saudi Arabia (Jubail City). He has actively been involved in the profession of Civil Engineering and construction management since 1978. He worked as a Quality Control Engineer at San-Vel Concrete Company, Littleton, Mass, USA and as a Structural Engineer with Walter J. Hickey Associates, a subsidiary of Purcell Associates in Quincy, Mass, USA. He later worked as a Civil/Structural Engineer with Julius Berger (Nig.) Plc and as a Chief Engineer (Bridges) at the Nigerian Railway Corporation before venturing into private practice in 1987. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Sparklight Group and its subsidiaries.
